Pattern: `动词 + 过 + 宾语`
动词 + 过 + 宾语
`过` shows that someone has had an experience before. The negative pattern is usually `没(有) + verb + 过`.
我吃过这家店的面条儿。
I have eaten noodles at this shop before.
他没穿过红色的衣服。
He has never worn red clothes.

Pattern: `因为 + 原因，所以 + 结果`
因为 + 原因，所以 + 结果
When explaining cause and result, you can use both words, or omit one when the context is clear.
因为今天很冷，所以我穿了很多衣服。
Because it is cold today, I wore many clothes.
这条裤子太长，所以我不买。
These pants are too long, so I will not buy them.

形容词/名词 + 的
When the noun is already clear, a phrase like `红色的` or `左边的` can stand in for the full noun.
我喜欢白色的。
I like the white one.
左边的是我的书包。
The one on the left is my schoolbag.
