Jīn tiān qù lǎo shī shuō de fàn diàn chī fàn ma?
Are we going to the restaurant the teacher talked about today?
小安
现在雨很大，我们还是明天去吧。
Xiàn zài yǔ hěn dà, wǒ men hái shì míng tiān qù ba.
It is raining hard now. Let’s go tomorrow instead.
小周
好。网上说那家饭店能坐二十多个人。
Hǎo. Wǎng shàng shuō nà jiā fàn diàn néng zuò èr shí duō ge rén.
Okay. Online it says that restaurant can seat more than twenty people.
小安
那我们明天早点儿去。
Nà wǒ men míng tiān zǎo diǎnr qù.
Then let’s go a little earlier tomorrow.
小周
可以，我也想看看老师说的饭店。
Kě yǐ, wǒ yě xiǎng kàn kan lǎo shī shuō de fàn diàn.
Okay. I also want to see the restaurant the teacher talked about.

还是 + 选择 + 吧

Use `还是...吧` to suggest the better choice after comparing options.

今天太晚了，我们还是明天再去吧。
Jīn tiān tài wǎn le, wǒ men hái shì míng tiān zài qù ba.
It is too late today. Let’s go tomorrow instead.
今天下雨，还是明天去吧。
Jīn tiān xià yǔ, hái shì míng tiān qù ba.
It is raining today. Let’s go tomorrow instead.

Pattern: `整十数 + 多 / 数量词 + 多`

整十数 + 多 / 数量词 + 多

After a number or quantity phrase, `多` means a little more than that number; it is approximate, not exact.

这个饭店能坐二十多个人。
Zhè ge fàn diàn néng zuò èr shí duō ge rén.
This restaurant can seat more than twenty people.
这间教室有三十多个学生。
Zhè jiān jiào shì yǒu sān shí duō ge xué sheng.
There are more than thirty students in this classroom.

Pattern: `动词短语 + 的 + 名词`

动词短语 + 的 + 名词

A verb or verb phrase before `的` can describe what a noun is used for or which one it is.

这是学生上课的教室。
Zhè shì xué shēng shàng kè de jiào shì.
This is the classroom where students have class.
这是老师说的饭店。
Zhè shì lǎo shī shuō de fàn diàn.
This is the restaurant the teacher talked about.
