Pattern: `把` for Placement
把 + object + verb + 在/到 + place
Use this `把` sentence when an action moves a definite object to a place.
请把书放在桌子上。
Please put the book on the desk.
我把笔记放到书包里了。
I put the notes into my bag.

Pattern: `在...上/中/下`
在 + area/scope + 上/中/下
This pattern can mark the scope or area being discussed, not only physical position.
在学习方法上，他帮了我很多。
In terms of study methods, he helped me a lot.
在这次活动中，我们学到了很多。
During this activity, we learned a lot.

Pattern: `把` for Transfer
把 + object + verb + 给 + person
Use this `把` pattern when an object is transferred to another person.
请你把那本书还给老师。
Please return that book to the teacher.
我把笔记借给同学。
I lend the notes to a classmate.

Learning Note
`把` needs a definite object.
Use `把` when both speakers know the object. `把一本书还给我` is less natural than `把那本书还给我` when the exact book is known.
