Lesson 15 · 大兴机场见!
Talk about simple travel plans, confirm an airport meeting, and use `也 / 还` to connect similar ideas.

Listen and Read
Connect a travel plan and an airport pickup into a short dialogue.
Core Words
First learn the most important place and planning words in this lesson.
Core Words
When meeting at the airport, people often say a time point and a length of time.
Pattern: `A ……,B 也 ……`
`也` shows that another person or another thing is the same.
Use `也` when a second person or thing is the same as the first one. `小林想去西安,我也想去西安` means Xiao Lin wants to go to Xi’an, and I want the same thing.
Quick Practice
Choose the correct position of `也`.
Choose the sentence where `也` shows the same wish as another person.
Pattern: `……,还 ……`
`还` often means there is one more thing in addition to what was said before.
`也` and `还` can both be close to also, but the focus is different. `也` stresses the same action or state as another person or thing. `还` stresses one more item from the same speaker, such as one more place, hobby, or ability.
Quick Practice
Practice using `还` to connect another plan.
Choose the sentence where `还` adds another plan from the same speaker.
Learning Note
Say the place, time, and pickup arrangement as a complete plan.
For an airport arrangement, you can say the meeting place first, then the time and what you will do. The proper name `大兴机场` can be read directly as a place.
Core Words
These words can appear in travel and everyday preference topics. First learn to recognize and read them.
Learning Note
Keep these as light recognition only, without adding burden to the main lesson thread.
`去年` and `好玩儿` can be read together with words already learned, such as `北京` and `这里`. They are not the core of this airport dialogue.
Learning Note
Use `也 / 还` and airport words to complete the final HSK1 read-aloud practice.
Repeat the two sentence groups first, then replace Beijing and Xi’an with a city you want to visit. You can say the city name in Chinese or English first; it does not affect the pattern practice.
